Man rescued from collapsed well in Sokoto


A middle aged man who specializes in drilling wells has been rescued by personnel of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and other emergency agencies after he felled into a collapse structure he was digging.

Rural Post gathered that the incident occurred near the Sultan Abubakar III Mosque, Sokoto State on Thursday as posted NEMA’s Facebook wall.

According to the post, efforts by officials of NEMA Operations Office, Nigeria Police, Civil Defence, Federal and State Fire Services with support from other stakeholders led to the rescue operation
