Gunmen attack Kaduna villages, kill six, raze houses


Gunmen have Rampaged some villages in Kauru local Government, leaving no fewer than six people dead.

Rural Post learned the attack which also led to the burn down of eight houses, six huts, a motorcycle and a power generating set by the Gunmen occurred in Magaji, Kigam, Kisicho and Kikoba villages in Kauru Local Government Area.

The State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan confirmed in a statement.

According to him,“In a report from the Defence Headquarters Operation Safe Haven, the armed assail ants attacked the mentioned villages early on Monday morning, and swiftly left six residents dead.

“The deceased have been identified as: Joseph Maza, Timvan Cibi Ciwo, Monday Titus, Asabe Magani, Laraba Danladi and Yosi Danladi, he sai..

He said while responding to a distress call, the troops arrived the locactation and engaged the attackers, forcing them to retreat.

“it was reported that eight houses, six huts, one motorc,ycle ,and a generator were razed during the attack. Some maize crops were also ddestroyed”, he said.
